Mazbro n mbaksis, Paus Francis selaku pemimpin umat Katolik dunia, ternyata seorang bikers juga lho!! Dan hebohnya, saat beliau melepas motor Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide yang diterimanya tahun lalu plus jaket spesial dari Harley-Davidson untuk dilelang, beliau mengungkapkan keinginannya untuk membeli Suzuki Hayabusa!!!
Menurut autoevolution Paus Francis mengungkapkan nama motor kenamaan Suzuki tersebut tanpa keraguan sedikitpun. Oh iya, kalau mazbro n mbaksis ada yang berminat membeli Harley-Davidson nya kenungkinan masih bisa dan siapkan uang US$329.000 ya untuk ikutan lelangnya, dan uangnya nanti akan disalurkan ke Yayasan Caritas, yang mengelola penampungan dan dapur umum bagi para gelandangan Roma Italia.

Last year Pope Francis received a Dyna Super Glide and a matching branded leather jacket from Harley-Davidson, as a token of respect and gratitude. The bike was gifted to His Holiness during Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary even in Rome, the Italian capital. Even though the Pope never actually rode the Harley around the San Pietro square or in other places, he decided to auction it for charity.
The bike auction was well taken care of by Bohnams, and it fetched no less than $329,000 (€240,675), with all the proceedings going to Caritas, a charity run by the Catholic Church, operating a hostel and soup kitchen for homeless people near the Rimini station in Rome.
After having autographed the Harley for bestowing his holy blessing upon the bike and its future owner, the Pope allegedly felt a bit sad to part with the new bike, before he even sat on it. Sources which prefer to remain anonymous report that His Holiness was told that he could in fact afford to buy pretty much any kind of motorcycle he pleased.
When asking about a bike which looks both alluring but without being conspicuous, while at the same time inspiring devotion and still be a performer, a Hayabusa was apparently named. The same spies report that the name rang like a silver bell in the Pope’s ears and he apparently sent for one. He was however advised that burnouts and revving up the bike until the silencers go white-hot was not at all inconspicuous.
